New York State Regulations

Office of Children & Family Services — Family Child Care Regulations

New York State regulations keep us focused on better health and safety standards for the children we care for. As a general rule, any day care program planning to serve three or more children for more than three hours a day on a regular basis must obtain a license or registration certificate.
